Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL)
which is the world’s largest Twenty-20 tournament, is back again with its 11th
edition. The IPL 2018 will begin on April 7, 2018, at the Wankhede Stadium in
Mumbai. A total of 60 matches will be played at nine venues across 51 days and
tournament will end on 27th April 2018 with its finale played in Mumbai. This
season will be special due to the comeback of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan
Royals after a ban of 2 years lifted from them.
IPL 2018 will also see the absence
of two star Australian batsmen, David Warner and Steve Smith due to their
recent ball tampering scandal. Also Mitchell Starc will not be able to play in
the tournament due to injury.
Fans will be eager to watch their
favorite players giving tough competition to each other as everyone will be
intrigued to know IPL 2018 time table / fixtures. As IPL 2018 is spanned for more
than a month making it really entertaining for the viewers to sit in front of

Out of 60 matches, 12 will be played in afternoon while 48 will be played in
the evening. The afternoon games will start from 4:00 pm and evening games will
start from 8:00 pm.
The season’s opener will be played
at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium between defending champions Mumbai Indians and
Chennai Super Kings. Apart from the hosting opening game and
the final of the IPL 2018, Mumbai will also host the first qualifier.
The Eliminator and Qualifier 2 will take place at
the Maharashtra Cricket Association’s International Stadium, Pune on May 23 and
25 respectively.
