Indian Hockey showcasing their mantle to the world in FIH Champions League




India continues to overwhelm their counterparts in the FIH Champions League by beating the Olympic champions Argentina by 2-1 on Sunday. Both of these goals were scored by Harmanpreet Singh (17th minute) and Mandeep Singh (28th minute). Only goal for Argentina was scored by Gonzalo Peillat, in the 30th minute. India are going forward strong to get their hands on their maiden Champions Trophy title. Where, India had beaten their arch-rivals Pakistan 4-0 in their tournament opener on Saturday. India is now spearheading the points table with two wins from the remaining games. India will now take on world champions Australia in their next match on June 27. Team’s chief coach Harendra Singh couldn't have asked for a better start to his fourth stint with the senior national side. The Indian team displayed all round performance in every department from defense to attack.


FIH Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 Points Table


This is the final edition of the men’s Champions Trophy as FIH has decided to discontinue the tournament after this edition. The Men’s Champions Trophy 2018 Points Table will be updated throughout the tournament.
